I have just spent an amazing week in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam on a Social Media Study Tour with five students from the University of the Sunshine Coast. Our time there provided an in-depth insight into how social media is used for public relations, and in digital marketing campaigns in the Vietnamese market.

Facebook content that works
A 21-day content analysis, that I conducted, examining the social media activities of not-for-profit organisations (NFPs) suggested three specific Facebook content categories to generate the greatest positive response from followers. These findings were supported by interviews that I conducted with donors, supporters and volunteers.
